Deep Integration and High-Efficiency Management
The warehouse features a deep integration of ACR robots with the SAP system. Through the intelligent scheduling capabilities of the SAP system, the robots are able to operate along optimal paths, achieving high-precision and high-efficiency management of the warehouse. The double-deep cross-beam racking system allows for deeper storage slots, enabling each shelf unit to hold more goods and significantly increasing the overall storage density. The entire shelving system is designed with high vertical positions, maximizing the use of vertical space and enhancing storage capacity.
How the Solution Works
The entire solution operates through a series of coordinated steps:
- Task Reception: Inbound and outbound operations are managed via customized buffer rack workstations equipped with barcode scanners and electronic label systems.
- Navigation: ACR robots use differential-drive technology to navigate the warehouse, allowing for precise directional changes, forward and backward movement, and 360-degree rotation.
- Material Identification and Confirmation: Upon reaching the target location, ACR robots scan barcodes, QR codes, or other identifiers using scanners or cameras to verify material identity and related information. The scan results are matched against WMS data to ensure material accuracy.
- Material Picking: ACR robots autonomously pick and place materials, automatically learning positioning parameters to reduce positioning time and minimize failure risks.
- Material Transportation: After picking up materials, ACR robots transport them to designated destinations while avoiding collisions with other obstacles and ensuring material stability.
- Material Placement: Upon reaching the destination,ACR robots place the materials in specified locations.
- Automatic Charging: ACR robots autonomously move to charging stations to recharge based on commands from the dispatch control system.
