Product Introduction
ASRS is the short of automated storage and retrieval system. It is also called Stacker Crane Racking system which is an efficient and fully automated storage and retrieval system. With narrow aisles and heights of more than 30 metres, this solution offers efficient, high density storage for a large variety of pallets.
AUTOMATED STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL SYSTEM (ASRS) is equipped with stacker cranes, which are guided by warehouse management software system. The stacker cranes travel along the aisles in the warehouse, then automatically position to extract the goods before delivering each item to the front of the racking. So in the asrs system, operators no need to enter the racking to pick the goods and this make the system safe and high speed working efficiency.
Normally the asrs system and the warehouse are divided but there’s another asrs system can be designed with rack cladding building with automatic storage and retrieval system. In the system, the pallet racking structure forms the building posts to support the walls and ceiling. The warehouse cladding are installed directly on the racking. And also the stacker cranes are designed in the aisles.
